Surprisingly poor quality given the price

Less than a year after buying this case, it has developed a fault. There is a significant abrasion on the surface of the case. It has had to be returned for repair.

We bought this case because it is very light and supposed to be very strong. It is very light, it looks good and potentially provides good protection for a valuable instrument.

Nonetheless, we are disappointed about this fault appearing so soon and would be unlikely to buy another.

Unreliable, broke down after five months

I bought this case in August 2020. It arrived in good condition, light-weight and very convenient.
Early January 2021, one of the locks broke. I emailed Thomann but got no reply.
In February 2021, the small plastic piece in the middle broke. I emailed Thomann and got a reply. I sent the case off for repair.
Today the case was delivered back. The small plastic piece in the middle has been repaired. The lock is still broken and has not been repaired. The second lock is now broken too.
It is now obvious that this product is nowhere near the quality that was advertised, and that the repair workshop is not able to provide the expected service. I have therefore requested a refund.

Light, robust and handsome

Looks pretty handsome. The kind of gadget that will draw attention from your colleagues.
It's a little bigger than I expected, but I cannot complain as the case is also more robust and more light, and that is a plus when you travel a lot. It lacks a little handle to pull open the lid, grabbing the box directly is a little
inconvenient as it closes firmly.
Difficult to make a mistake choosing this case... if your budget let you.
