I found absolutely no info anywhere about the types of cables you should buy for the Two Notes Torpedo, so I?ll try to help out those of you that have put your money on the table for authentic sounding cab simulation because your neighbours would rather listen to "despacido" being looped a thousand times than your amazing new riffs on your Marshall JCM 800.
So, if you bought the Torpedo or the Studio, get one of these. It allows a wet and a dry signal to pass through the S/PDIF and gets you better, a clearer tone (probably also because you need to run the unit at 48k or 96k bitrate).
I am also guessing that when you use the other output, you are going Analogue - Digital - Analogue - Digital which doesn't help your tone.
What I have also noticed, and what is best of all is that I am able to track using the low latency input seamlessly into the DAW as well. I am unsure if this is not possible with the audio out, but it only worked with this S/PDIF.
So Two Notes Torpedo guys, BUY THIS CABLE!
@ Thomann, please make a bundle for the TwoNotes with this cable or at least make it relate to the unit as it is almost essential. This isn?t made very clear by most of the technical literature.
