So, this is the best pal of my bass guitar.
Originally, my wish was Rumble 40 or Rumble 100, but Rumble LT25 attracted my attention because of the sheer versatility with sounds and side glance to tuner. I've yet to find out all the goodies packed in, the instruction manual is a little bit lonely right now, but in short:
1) Tuner was a godsend, because it's extremely practical once you get used to it. It is also relatively on point when in comparison with polytune tuner - it goes off either hair up or down, but there's no very drastic change in tune overall.
2) Sound - Many tunes and as a beginner in playing bass guitar, this can be completely overwhelming. Currently I am still on standard tune, but it's nice to have a choice when you get bored of one and the same tune, day in and day out. The sound is stable, loud and clear. I am practicing in a room of a 6m2 size, and this thing is loud enough to shake the rafters, so to speak. As a practice amp for a solo bass player it is more than enough. But if you are in a band, you may want to look into Rumble 100 or higher, depending on your wants, needs and budget.
3) Headphone input works well, is stable and sound is clear. All the inputs hold the cables well, with no crickets anywhere. Also additional input for footswitch is welcome, if unused at the moment.
4) Weight and size: Heavy enough not to let the tail of our dog win the battle with gravity. but still light enough to transport in a car on the back seat. It's also very robust. The size was a bit of a surprise, because I honestly expected it would be a little bit smaller. If you are wanting an amp for a smaller room, take in the account that the amp will have to stand at least 8 to 10 cm away from the wall because of cables.
5) Future - proof? Right now, it's more than enough for my needs, even if Fender promises it can be updated regularly with the presets from their site, so if you are interested in experimenting or just keeping up with the latest trends, then yes, I'd recommend it.
6) Price/performance: Okay, you may diss the LT25, because the holy grails of Fender lineup are Rumble 40 and 100. If you want more power, then yes, you can disregard the little LT25. But for what it offers, the price is right!
Conclusion: If you are interested purely in one sound and no frills along with a little more sound power, the winning contender is clearly Rumble 40. But if you are looking for a flexibility, and you are not willing to tote around yet another tuner or if you are just a lonely bass wolf or have a very limited place to practice in, give LT25 a try.
