Firstly, when I bought this a couple of years ago it was half the price they are now. Not having seen or played it in person I doubt I'd have paid over 4K (nearly 5 on the Framus site) for it. But is it worth the current price? Absolutely, if you compare it to what you get at that price point from other brands. The woods and parts used here are amazing. Needles to say, the flame maple is an actual top, not just a veneer. The fretboard has to be one of the nicest pieces of ebony I've ever seen. The same is true for the construction and finish. If you're thinking of buying one you probably already know, but just in case: beware. This thing is HEAVY. Mine's 4.3Kg. Devin specifically designed it like that. It's basically a Les Paul (in terms of woods, weight and even neck joint although you can't tell due to the heel carve) that doesn't look like one. Personally, I could do without the Evertune but once you're used to it it's fine. The Signature fishmans make it a very versatile guitar with the different voicings. I did, however, replace the volume pot with another push-pull to also be able to coil-split.
All in all an amazing guitar that's (even at the current price point) worth every penny!
