I intended to use this xylophone for a course with young students but I was really disappointed and unable to use it.
Firstly, the packaging was poor, the xylophone had suffered some cosmetic wear during shipping.
Secondly, the first 6 notes(c-a, bars) have absolutely no "body" in sound.
Thirdly and most problematically, the bars jump out of position as soon as you play louder than mp.
Overall: I would definitely not recommend this for anyone. I purchased a Bergerault alto xylo in the same order and it completely blows the Goldon xylo out of the water in regards to quality.
