Great technology, having different ratios for each string! Doing so, the number of turns per one tone up or down is the same for all strings.
The locking mechanism helps to put new strings, as they can't slip out. However, I would always use around 2 turns to wind up the string. If you just use the locking force, a simple move on the locking screw lets your string slip out, and it's difficult to put back in place, as it is too short.
Anyway: perfect techno, to recommend.
Amendment: When you know how to best change strings on your guitar, I found out that the locking mechanism is less important. But the ratio tuners are showing their great value every day! So, no reason to change the 5 stars. I just will spend a bit less money next time and buy the non-locking ratio tuners.
