Kolberg DH28

These mallets feel great in the hands and make very little contact noise; surprinsingly for wooden mallets, they bring out a quite round sound of the drums (I’ve tried them on plastic heads, I may assume that on natural skins they will sound even better). The pair is perfectly matched in weight and tone as well.
They are more expensive than other wooden mallets but still it’s one of the few affordable Kolberg products I know, and I think the little extra price it’s worthy. To sum up, these are the best wooden mallets I’ve ever played with.
