I owned few acoustics, most noteworthy my Dowina, once bought on the Frankfurt music fair and my long term mate. Very nice guitar and brand! I am rather playing electric guitar - you can use the headphones in the night when I am at home. But I also adore steel and nylon.
I had several extra acoustics. Taylor Baby - well done, but a little bit tinny and too short in scale. Framus, really good quality, but gigantic in size and a little bit stiff... Recording King, fun, not perfect, but a little bit too indecent in sound. HB Travel Mahagony, nice sound, sometimes a little bit insufficient in finish...
Now Martin.... sounds to me like "to fall on the knees"...
indeed. Made in Mexico "only". Flawless, maybe no perfect paintjob where the necks fits into the body. NP.
Wonderful - frets. Top. Look. One strap pin I had to install (good reasons, I guess. It was in a small bag).
Playability fine. Sound very decent, but not massive. Mind that the body is rather small.
The scale 610 mm - almost ideal.
A travel mate of top quality and a home friend. I start already considering... to good for traveling... nice gigbag is included.
Great little guitar. It seems that Martin, such as Taylor and also Ibanez do have really good QM even for their budget instruments.
