The guitar arrived out of adjustment and I set about checking it.
It caught my attention that the springs sounded like they were rusty, but they weren't. When I uncovered the protector I realized that the reason for the noise was because one of the springs was very close to the wood and created a gap on the left side of the cavity where the Floyd Rose springs rest.
This happened because the floating tremolo block was poorly designed, since the insertion holes were not aligned and the spring was forced in, but they still assembled it. It could be seen that it was a terrible and very mediocre installation on the part of Schecter.
I won't ever buy anything from Schecter again, I'm disappointed.
