I'm very satisfied with the strings that made my daughter's violin (Thomann Classic) sound much, much better than with the stock strings. Even her teacher made several positive comments about the violin, unaware that strings were changed. Strings are thicker than standard steel ones, and thus more friendly for little fingers. With the violin mentioned above, I had a little struggle trying to fit thicker strings into slots in fine tuners - I managed to do it, but it wasn't easy. The only negative is price - in my case more than 1/3 of the violin. But I don't regret.
