Best Brass TP-5C Trumpet GP

The Best Brass 5C is a very good mouthpiece for making a dark, big tone with an excellent comfort cushion rim. For me, the bite is much too soft and the rim needs redesigning. I also think the grooves in the throat make it play worse, not better, making it respond less well than it should. The same mouthpiece in titanium plays and sounds a little better if you have metal allergies. The only place this 5C is unbeatable is in the large bore C trumpet - it can improve the tuning and sound.
