What to say: they are powerful, they sound great, automatic equaliser is well engineered, and while still being monitors and shooting back at you a neutral sound, you still get a pleasant round dynamic if you just want to enjoy some music. I use them sometimes with a stage piano, sometimes I try to produce my own music on Logic and this ranges jazz to full-out electro, I play the sax (incl. digital) and I sing. And of course, I also enjoy heavy gaming. At least to my ears, I enjoy the sound better than my previous Yamaha HS series, but that's just me. I have two of them and in an apartment it's more than plenty, round and louder than needed. I don't think I would enjoy a single monitor, though, it's still very compact and it benefits from support in the lower frequencies, either a second monitor (works great) so you can keep power low and still enjoy strong loud frequencies, or if you have an old sub lying around (like I did) it's even better. They're not cheap, I don't think I would have paid for an extra sub, though, two pieces run at almost 700EUR, a decent sub is another 300, at 1k EUR I guess there's plenty of options.
One last comment: they are small and look great. My home studio is for everyone to see, this one variable made the difference with my wife.
Great buy, they're here to stay.
