No more shenanigans with a ten pack of reeds, where five are immediately unplayable and the others have to be tested for a long time in order to figure out whether they deliver for a coule of weeks or not. With this reed you pay the same as for a ten pack of normal ones and don't have to worry about anything anymore for months to come!
Soundwise it might lack of a certain "grain", but in my case I prefer a crystall clear sound that pops right through in the mix, so that doesn't concern me too much. Pitchwise it's not as stable as a good wooden reed, but that can also be used to be more flexible in that concern (so it's definitely something for advanced players!)
