Mojotone BV-25M 12" 16 Ohm Speaker

Got two of these speaker to replace my Celestion Greenbacks in one cab, to try something else. Used them for 10 months, but the sound remained harsh and brittle when overdriven, and I don't use much drive. Really didn't work for me. With a mic in front of it, these didn't sound that bad, but in the room I couldn't stand them. Sounded like the speakers couldn't handle a boost, overdrive or fuzz. As it were two different speakers that I ordered separately, I don't think I just happened to get two bad ones, it's just how these sound. Switched back to Greenbacks and all is good again.
