Pro
- a lot of volume, no problem with loud drummer
-nice dynamic response.
-light weight , lunch box size.
-inexpensive, but better sounding than average transistor amp.
Cons
-nice sound with crunch setting, with higher gain the
-distortion is harsh and fizzy, and low mids tend to get engulfed.
You can gig with it, the trick is to use an eq in the send and return.and cut the 500-800 hz.
or go in the send and return with pedals, bypassing the pre section. with a A/B loop pedal you can have to cannel setting.
the dynamic is in reality given from the transistor section.
the tubes is just for the gain distortion.
Cab simulator kind of ok.
nice pedal for amp back up or main amp in small gig.
Punk ,rock roll , indie , 70 s rock. Really nice clean, but the volume level is not enough to play with drummer.
The sound texture is hugely influenced from the cabinet used.
tried with an orange cab and Marshall, really different.
with fender cab , doesn't sound good.
Hit or miss. really depend from your gear, and of course your taste.
For the price still really competitive and thats the best in this range.
