TFA Accuracy Thermo-Hygrometer BK

Wer ein batterieloses Hygrometer sucht, um z.B. seinen Instrumenten ein perfektes Klima zu bieten, dass sich auch aus Entfernung sehr gut ablesen läßt, wird hier fündig. Das integrierte Thermometer ist für meinen Geschmack eher zu klein geraten.

Tip: für ein paar Euro mehr gibt es bei Thomann das "TFA Schimmel Radar Hygrometer" (Artikel 345827). Das zeigt beide Werte - super lesbar - und digital an. Zudem hat es mit der "Radar" Funktion einen hohen Zusatzwert bezüglich des Klima-Verlaufes.

Pros:
o Made in Germany
o Anzeige scheint präzise und Hygrometer ist gut lesbar

Cons:
o Standfuss ist eher klapprig ausgefallen
o Eher "winziges" Thermometer

Functional and (at least so it appears to me) sensitive enough to even the slightest of changes.

Now that said?
- Plastic round frame housing and back; and cheap plastic at that. Think Chinese gadget-like devices you may have bought from eBay.
- Cheap paint coating that left my hand sticky after holding it for barely long enough to have a thorough look at it. Initially started wondering what it was that i did prior, then realised its the hygrometer itself.
- The flippable support leg on the back (if you don't want to hang it on a wall or closet) is made of the same brittle, cheap plastic and causes the device to wobble with the slightest vibration or touch. As the front really is glass, keep this in mind.

Leaving the facts aside and moving on to assumption, like another customer mentioned here i too strongly suspect this is made in China, 101%. It's the new "Made in Germany", aka made in China, but assembly or packaging done "inland", so there you go, made in Deutchland.
And for a (Chinese) product of this quality, the price is inexcusable.
