I think they ask too much for what their controls offer.
They're solid products, but you're paying a premium for developmental costs and profit greed.
What I like is that you can slap any combination of passive and active pickups on this, it acts as a buffer. After the ABC, you use pot values for active circuitry.
I don't mind tinkering, so I wanted to see if I can mod this for a long shaft on a 2 humbucker guitar.
It is really hard to desolder all points of the PCB at once, and it was not possible to find a double stacked mini pot with a long shaft that would work with this.
The premise of this device is nice and I wanted to use it for more tonal control on that 2 humbucker guitar. But I have not been able to use it as such.
If they would make these with long shafts too, it would be perfect.
