As I was always aware of the advantages of the Twin, especially for Pedal Steel Guitars, I never could accept the weight of this beast. The other week I learned about the presence of the Tone Master Twin. One day later, I ordered it and - my god - excellent sound, absolutely - it really sounds like a Twin, crystal clear - what else to say? Further, this power attenuator is a very useful add-on. In case there is a slight difference between the Tone Master Twin and the original, I did not notice it yet - and I don't care, if there is one. At my age (70) these 15 kg are a very strong argument. My Pedal Steel sounds terrific over this light-weight Twin, with all the headroom I always wanted to have - home at last. And on top of it, my Ovation Adamas sounds terrific on this amp too - the Twin provides the thrust that all these nice sounding acoustic amps don't have. The issue is: when you want to do an acoustic solo and you have a band with bass, drums and other guitar and keyboards etc behind, and you want to have control and hear yourself comfortably, and dont want to rely on the mixer in the room - you need something powerful. This Twin provides it, and you can schlep it.
