After a 6 month wait, I was very excited to finally have the guitar delivered.
Unfortunately, after opening the case, I noticed what looked like several splotches of white filler in the fretboard.
There a a couple of small chips in the paint to bare wood at the end of the fretboard.
The binding hasn't been scraped squarely and there is a big bubble of paint, most likely with a paint chip underneath, right under your eyeline at the end of the fretboard.
Some positives are that it was reasonably packaged, with no movement in the Gibson box. Apart from the mentioned issues above, the rest of the guitar looks fine.
I didn't plug it in, since I was very dissapointed with the cosmetic issues, so can't comment on the sound.
Hopefully I'll get a replacement without any blemishes without too long a wait.
