I have ordered numerous stuff from thomann and had never any negative experience, but these stands, oh boy. First of all I have a feeling that these had been laying somewhere in the warehouse, forgotten, probably returned and packaging was all dusty and just in such a bad shape, like it was thrown out of an aeroplane or sth... But I forgive the packaging, if the thing then serves it's purpose, of course..., and these stands immediately disappointed me. They were really wobbly and even the shape at the bottom (the triangle) was not as it's shown in the pictures, the crossbar was not there, as if they were an older model or sth.. So, naturally I was pissed, but I didn't send them back, just asked my friend/neighbour, who can weld this metal stuff. Apparently the base was in really bad shape, not even welded properly, and that was the reason it was all wobbly. So after 1 hour the stands were as they should be. Now I am using these stands for my Yamahas hs8 and don't worry a thing. But not every one has an option to call a friend to fix the damn thing.. I believe, the stands are actually okay, if you get them new and so on. But I bought them "new", not b-stock and the shape that mine were in, shouldn't had been sold to anyone... and that's bothering me!
