Der Einbau ist ohne löten und großes aufschrauben eine sehr angenehme sache.
Es sind 4 Schrauben zu lösen, den stecker vom alten Crossfader abziehen und den neuen Crossfader an der Buchse neben dem alten Kabel einstecken.
Der Crossfader ist durch eine Magneten, in einer mardenschraube, einstellbar. Ich hab sie komplett rausgenommen.
Ich bin mehr als zufrieden und kann jetzt endlich auch mal ordentlich scratchen.
Ein kolege mit nem Ecler 360 hat ihn ausprobiert: guckte mich an und nickte... endlich hast du was mit dem arbeiten kann^^

Hi! I got this crossfader fiew days ago. Packed in cardboard box, and ESD safe bag. Everything nice, but, when i , folowing instruction, connected it to my mixer, nothing happened. I searched in internet, but there was no information available what can be wrong, and than i started to investigate connections, i found that wiring does not correspond to connector onboard. I found that middle pin from 3 pins is right one, but other two from sides should be crossed. So i did that, and now its works. Its possible that for other hardware revisions of DDM4000 could be different. My one is from 2007.

Behringer X1 Replacement/upgrade Fader

After some considerable use the original crossfader on my DDM4000 needed replacing and the X1 optical fader represented a significant upgrade for a small amount more than the standard replacement item. The fader came with good fitting instructions but I did find space a bit tight when clipping the cable into place.
If you have fat fingers I would suggest removing the whole faceplate and not just the faderplate to fit this fader.
You can set the cut in from each side so its perfect for scratch djs. The tension setting doesnt seem to tighten things up too much so the fader glides very smoothly. I dont see this being an issue as scratch Djs will only really be potential buyers for this.
In operation It is a huge improvement on the original and really turns a already good mixer into a great mixer. I noticed a clear improvement on my cuts.
