Buffet Crampon ICON 65mm barrel silver

Je vous partage ma mésaventure avec ce baril et avec Thomann!! Le baril est arrivé après un temps assez long (transporteur) . Au déballage, une "veine" dans le bois me fait tiquer; une possible fente. après séance d'essai (pas très longue, environ 45 minutes), le doute n'est plus permis la fente est bine réelle et s'ouvre. un mince fil sombre est visible sur l'intérieur du baril plus une zone sombre au coin du bois (coulure d'une réparation antérieure ?) .Je contacte Thomann qui me demande des photos du carton ! (qui ne porte pas de traces particulières). après 48h, Thomann m'informe qu'ils entame une procédure contre le transporteur !!! Le transporteur a 7 jours pour venir inspecter un colis pas significatif et s'il ne vient pas pas, je dois recontacter Thomann.
Me voilà bloqué depuis deux semaines et pour un temps indéterminé parce que Thomann ne veut pas assurer l'après-vente de sa marchandise !!!! J'ai Quatre concerts en vue. Je vais donc aller voir ailleurs !

The ICON silver barrel is a nice way to 'Buffetise' your clarinet, no matter the mark. The sound is nicely round and soft.

The overall quality of craftsmanship didn't appeal me, but the flaws will stay unnoticed by anyone not taking the barrel into their hands.

Overall I'm happy I bought this one, it changed my 'economy' clarinet into a soloists tool.
