I got this with the 2up2down kit and I love it! I prefer a pretty fat sound although without a ton of ring and it was super easy to get that, I use a clear remo emperor on the batter side and the stock head on the reso and it was a breeze to tune (im usually pretty bad at tuning too). The hardware is superb quality and feels totally rock solid and the shells themselves are just amazing, top all that off with an awesome finish and it's a great kit for a great price. I was skeptical of going with drumcraft as they're relatively new and don't yet have the years of reputation to back them up but I'm so glad I did in the end. I got a high end kit for the price of an intermediate kit and I love it.
And I know this sounds like an advertisement but I'm just a normal drummer that's totally blown away by the whole kit.i HIGHLY recommend.d these shells to you!!
