I received my orders after 2-3 week, so kudos to Thomann and DHL/EMS being very sufficient despite this current situation.
first thing first about the case. look, its beautiful and no one can deny. and it is very sturdy and lightweight. no worries for daily transportation. i actually like the back pack straps. very comfortable for caring and the case is actually so compact a causing no problem in my movement and the pads help with soreness - i use public transportation, little shock coming from people crashing, sudden break in the bus and crowded space in subway are common. the only drawback of the case itself is because the case lay flat, so the case will be unsteady when being put down.
not really sure if this consider a pro or con since the case is super compack, so it is very travel friendly. all you could put in the case is the violin, 2 bows, a bunch of string underneath the violin handle, closet are enough for rosin and a mute, shoulder rest compartment surprisingly large for a kun/wolf forte. i could easily put my shoulder rest without changing any angle of my shoulder rest legs comparing to my old case. obviously no space for music sheets/books etc.
now here is the hard part. I pay too much for the case so it end up not being the best offer anymore (This greenline products to my knowledge, is to aim to students because of advantaged in weght- and price-wise for the quality they have). im currently live in Korea and i had paid a ridiculus amount of shipping and tax. i have to say thats no ones fault. currency fluctuated so i could only tell that i spent the same amount of money to pay for the tax and shipping, which mean the case when came to my hands, doubled in price. so, for all Europian customers, id say that yes i recommend the case 100/10, but for customers coming from other regions, NO. if you just love it so much (like me), the you are welcome
