I had a few small desktop amps (Yamaha THR5, Yamaha THR 30 W II, Katana Air, Nux Mighty Space), all of them having their pros and cons. When I listened to Pulze, its sound reminded me of the spaciousness of Yamaha THR5 (which I unfortunately didn't hear in the 30W version any more) but its sound variability reaches much further beyond any Yamaha desktop amps. Moreover its looks is so neat (maybe not liking to everyone but I prefer its sleek and simple design). As I also have the Ampero Stomp II, I can confirm the sound is the same, though number of stomps and effects is substantially reduced (460 Stomp compared to 177 Pulze). But who needs more? I also think that next updates will add some more.
What I consider a con: compared to NUX Mighty Space which has the external footswitch, nice synced stereo looper, stereo out and is battery operated, the Pulze is quite limited lacking those features. But the sound is really a major win for Pulze - hear and see some (sponsored, of course) reviews on YT, especially by Jay Palmar and Guitar Max.
